Betfair immediately signed Obrestad in an endorsement deal a few days after her win. The heads-up showdown between Annette and John Tabatabai lasted for a long time as Tabatabai put up a good game. The final hand in the game saw all of the cash put in on the flop of five, six and seven.
Tabatabai had two pair but Obrestad had a hand of sevens during the flop. Annette defeated a lot of top live and online poker players in her quest for the championship. Obrestad first started playing poker in online poker freerolls.
