On February 15th, the Hard Rock Casino announced that the much awaited Trent Tucker Hoopology Poker Fest this weekend will be led by no less than the NBA's most famous players.
The contest is part of a trend for famous celebrities to be involved in poker tournaments to attract media interest.
NBA legends, such as BJ Armstrong, Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan had signed up for the $10,000 Hoopology Poker Fest. Other former NBA players including Trent Tucker himself will be part of the event.
The Hoopology poker tournament is expected to get attention as well as great entertainment for fans and poker enthusiasts.
Aside from the great NBA players, many well known poker players like Mike Sexton and Patrik Antonius will be attending the event of the game of poker.
Proceeds from the poker tournament will be added to the Trent Tucker Non Profit Organization. After the Hoopology poker event, there will be a star studded festivity at Hard Rock Nightclub Body English.
Meanwhile, in the music industry, the Hip Hop community is running a poker tourney at the Aladdin. The poker tourney dubbed as Poker With the Stars of the Hip Hop community will feature some of the leading names in Hip Hop.
