Chris Moorman Ranks 1st at the PocketFives Online Poker Player Leaderboard

Chris Moorman found himself at the top of one of the most respected online poker leaderboards when the year 2009 came to an end on December 31st, 2009. The British poker pro, who plays under the online name Moorman1, was ranked number one worldwide on the list of online poker tournament players on PocketFives.

Moorman's online tournament wins in 2009 included $28,000 in a $65,000 guarantee and $88,166 in a Daily $100 rebuy in February, $39,750 in a $150,000 Guarantee in March and $52,950 in a Daily $100 rebuy in September.

But aside from online poker tournament scores, the ranking system of PocketFives also incorporates a polling system to decide the top ranked poker players.

The online poker community of PocketFives, which is filled with some of the best online poker players in the world, was asked to pick the players that they believe will be successful in the poker circuit in the future based on past tournament performances and Moorman's name came up often, which is enough to push him into the top of the rankings.

He was also ranked 4th in both the CardPlayer and Bluff Magazine Online Player of the Year standings in 2009. Moorman has more than $1.7 million in lifetime tournament earnings, including nine poker career titles and 148 cash-ins.
