French Poker Pro Antoine Saout Joins Everest Poker

2009 World Series of Poker "November Nine" member Antoine Saout has been signed by Team Everest on August 10th, 2009. The twenty-five year old Frenchman, who qualified for the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event on Everest Poker, will now be joining high-stakes poker events all over the world with an Everest Poker patch.

Saout, who is living in Saint Martin des Champs, Brittany, France, dropped out of university after first year to play the game full time. He will come into the final of the 2009 WSOP Main Event on November 7th, 2009 in 8th place in total chips.

Everest Poker Director Sandrine Mangia-Park said that France is where Everest Poker first debuted and to have a French poker player on the 2009 WSOP Main Event final table who qualified with them is very exciting. Park added that Saout joined an increasingly well-respected team of poker players who support one another in the biggest poker tournaments in the world.

Everest Poker stated that it does not support big name poker players, picking instead to support talented young poker players it can nurture within its own poker academies. Saout joins Cristiano Blanco of Italy, Voitto Rintala of Finland, Spain's Maria Maceiras, Steven Van Zadelhoff of The Netherlands and Wooka Kim of Japan on the team.
