Full Tilt Poker's FTOPS XVI event will start at the end of next month with thirty events and a huge $18 million guaranteed prize money. The online poker series that started in August 2006 with a combined guaranteed cash pool of just more than $1 million has grown a lot ever since.
Starting on April 23rd, 2010, FTOPS XVI promises to be the grandest incarnation of the poker series yet. This time, FTOPS XVI will feature a wide array of tournaments including Super Turbo Texas Hold'em, Knockout, Shootout and Turbo poker events, each hosted by a Full Tilt Poker pro.
There will be a Two-Day poker event with a guaranteed cash pool of $2 million and the FTOPS Main Event, now featuring a guaranteed cash pool of $3 million.
Players can also participate in an FTOPS XVI Satellite Challenge for the opportunity to win extra tournament buy-ins and Tournament Dollars, and this May 2010, Full Tilt will also host MiniFTOPS, giving poker players the opportunity to get in on $7 million in guaranteed prize money for 1/10th of the buy-in.
Everyone who makes the final table of any FTOPS XVI event will receive a limited edition FTOPS jacket and the winners will receive a gold FTOPS jersey and gold jersey avatar.
