James Akenhead Makes it to Final Table of Poker Million Event

2009 World Series of Poker Main Event November Nine member James Akenhead has made another final table and Full Tilt Poker is offering its poker players the opportunity to join him there.

The British Full Tilt Poker Pro, who will come into the final table of the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event (WSOP) next month as the shortest stack, recently finished in 9th place in the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event. Now, Akenhead has made the final table of Poker Million, a made-for-television event sponsored by Full Tilt Poker.

Akenhead said that he have watched previous Poker Million's on television so to get to the final table in his first ever appearance is something that he can be proud of. Akenhead's run to the final table included sending home Tom "durrr Dwan and Antonio Esfandiari along the way.

Those who will join him in the final table include Juha Helppi, Full Tilt Poker's Dag Martin Mikkelsen, Cardrunner's co-founder Taylor Caby and Peter Vasiliou and a travel consultant from the United Kingdom who qualified online at Full Tilt Poker.

UK nosebleed stakes loudmouth Luke "Full Flush" Schwartz will come into the final table of the tournament with the chip lead. The 7th and last spot in the final can still be won online at Full Tilt Poker through the online site's Poker Million-Last Chance 5000 FTP point freeroll on November 22nd, 2009, where the winner will bypass the heats and semi-finals going directly onto the final table.

The Poker Million final will take place in December 2009 and air live on Sky Sports TV.
