Marco Johnson Declared Champion of $100,000 Online Tournament at Bodog

With the satellite tournaments and online qualifiers for the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event finished, poker players competed on June 25, 2007 at the Bodog Sunday $100,000 online poker tournament to add to their winnings or bankroll for their upcoming trip to Las Vegas, Nevada this summer.

About 810 poker players competed in the event for the chance to win the $25,000 first place cash prize, which is considered one of the largest cash prizes in the online poker circuit.

Well-known online poker pro Marco "CrazyMarco" Johnson entered the final table at the tournament in second place in total chips and carefully built his chip stack as he sent most players at the final table packing.

The tournament finally came to a close after 3 hands of heads-up showdown with another online poker pro, Corey "Ozone23" Albertson. Aside from the cash prize, Johnson's win earned him TLB points.

A lot of Bodog players are doing well in tournaments lately, like "UFPokerStar", "nevertilt22", "head2782", "FPPoker4" and "papdelpoker", all in the top 10 on the annual TLB, have been in Las Vegas this summer, competing at the Bellagio Cup III, Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza and at the 2007 World Series Of Poker.
