The Poker in the Park event will be held at the Leicester Square in Central London for a two day event from August 15th, 2008 until August 16th, 2008 from 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. on Friday (August 15th, 2008) and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on August 16th, 2008. The poker event will attract 25,000 poker players who will participate in the events, lectures by the top British poker players and buy poker books and poker merchandise from the top poker players in the industry. Produced together with Bluff Europe and PKR, the tournament is the biggest consumer poker event in Europe.
Poker in the Park will be held in the Leicester Square Park in London. PKR are this year's sponsor and will be holding the Poker Dome which will see the poker participants battling it out on the hourly event. The marketing director of PKR, Mr. Simon Prodger said that the Leicester Square is considered to be one of the most famous squares in the world and they believed that this is a good venue for their poker event.
