Poker Pro Vanessa Rousso to Conduct Poker Boot Camp for Poker Enthusiasts

Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso will begin the year doing something that she really loves to do-teaching poker lovers different poker strategies. Vanessa Rousso said that her biggest passion outside of playing in live poker tournaments is teaching poker techniques. She said that she loves watching her students smile when they learn something new about the game.

While attending the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure at Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, Rousso plans to debut her 2010 Poker Boot Camp schedule with a "Strategy Symposium Under the Sun" scheduled on January 10th, 2010.

Following the PCA, the 2009 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship runner-up will travel to Biloxi, Mississippi where she will then host a 2-day "Poker Tournament Theory Boot Camp and Tournament" on January 22nd, 2010 at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino.

The past twelve months have been fruitful for Rousso, as she improved her total poker career earnings to more than $4 million, was featured in a two-page spread in the Sports Illustrated (SI) Swimsuit Edition and joined GoDaddy.com as its newest spokesperson.

Aside from her good run at the NBC Heads-Up Championship, Rousso also booked her biggest win by taking down the PokerStars European Poker Tour High Roller Event in Monte Carlo for $940,000 in April 2009.

Now Rousso claims to have created a poker boot camp curriculum permitting participants to learn high-level poker technique and in a interactive environment that incorporates learning techniques by doing simulations. Rousso says that one of her biggest joys is watching her techniques put into action.

Rousso said that it is very excitiing when her students' confidenvce level improves as a result of using what they have learned at her poker bootcamp. Rousso added that one her students earned $40,000 at the Main Event during the 2009 World Series of Poker.
